Due to the National Fire Danger Rating System changing in Shelton to  Very High Fire Danger, the City of Shelton will be enacting a complete  burn ban effective on Saturday,

September 10 at 12:01 a.m.

All  burning, including recreational fires and charcoal, will be banned  until further notice. Propane-fueled equipment and pellet grills will  remain legal during this time.
