House Energy and Commerce Committee schedules hearings on public safety and energy regulations

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce is scheduled to hold two subcommittee hearings and one subcommittee markup this week in Washington, D.C.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology will conduct a hearing at 10:15 AM ET. The focus of the session will be FirstNet and public safety communications. The meeting will take place in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Later that day, at 2:00 PM ET, the Subcommittee on Energy will hold a hearing to discuss how appliance and building regulations affect affordability, consumer choice, and grid reliability. This hearing will also be held in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 10:15 AM ET, the Subcommittee on Health is set to mark up several bills related to public health reauthorization. This session will also occur in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
