Economic Alliance to administer additional $200,000 in COVID-19 relief to area businesses

The Economic Alliance in Okanogan County recently announced its partnership with Okanogan County to administer additional grant funding of up to $10,000 for local businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  

In a recent announcement posted on the Economic Alliance's website, Okanogan County will use an additional $200,000 of federal CARES Act funds to award grants to local businesses to use to maintain or create jobs, submit a current business license and other business operation costs such as rent, mortgage, PPE and marketing. The funds must be distributed by Oct. 31, 2020 and be used for operation costs incurred after March 1, 2020, according to the Economic Alliance.

Eligibility requirements for the grant funding include buisnesses physically located in Okanogan County, owned by a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident alien and have been in business since March 1,2020, according the Economic Alliance announcement. 

Those businesses interested in applying can visit economic-alliance.com/grants/ to fill out an application and receive more information.
