STEVENS COUNTY: Notice of Public Hearing Re Proposal to Increase Certain Noxious Weed Assessments

Stevens County issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Stevens County, Washington, will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stevens County Commissioners’ Office (Old Avista Building); 230 East Birch Ave; Colville, Washington.  The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony, comments and conduct a discussion on a proposal to increase certain noxious weed assessments.  Further information may be obtained from the Stevens County Noxious Weed Control Board; temporarily located at 260 South Oak Street; Colville, Washington or by calling (509) 684-7590. 

Pursuant to Proclamations issued by Washington State governor Jay Inslee, #20-28.11, open public meetings/ hearings will be conducted virtually until at least November 9th, 2020.  Meeting link:

Should the Governor’s proclamations be lifted after November 9, 2020, the meeting shall occur in person.  The meeting location is barrier free.  Additional information with regard to accessibility or notification of an ADA accommodation should be made to the Clerk of the Board at least five working days prior to the date of the meeting.
