THE CITY OF COLVILLE is accepting applications for one full-time Assistant Public Works Director.

This position provides consistent shop and field supervision over maintenance staff within the Public Works Department.

Requires thorough working knowledge of water, sewer, streets and storm drainage construction, repair and maintenance; working knowledge of construction specifications and contract documents; experience with city fleet maintenance; ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Federal, State and local agencies, public utilities, businesses, City officials, employees and the general public.

5 years experience with construction/maintenance of Public Works infrastructure.

3 years experience in a supervisory capacity preferably within a City Public Works Department or underground utility company to include hiring, evaluation and discipline.

Starting salary range is $4,857.98 to $5,054.24 per month D.O.E.
