14edited

Lee Frank Mercantile will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Washington lost 341 soldiers in the Korean war and 660 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 324 S Whitcomb Ave, Tonasket will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Kelly O Keefe Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Lee Frank Mercantile while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Lee Frank Mercantile is located at 324 S Whitcomb Ave, Tonasket, Washington. This location is owned by Ryan Kester, represented by Jason Brandow and managed by Dave Kester.
