Washington D.C. — House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Innovation, Data, and Commerce Subcommittee Chair Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) have announced a hearing titled “The Fiscal Year 2025 Department of Commerce Budget.”

“The Department of Commerce is tasked with ensuring American businesses have the resources they need to innovate, grow, and compete. In order to ensure the U.S. continues to be an economic and technological leader, we need sound, transparent policies that support American competitiveness, especially in emerging technologies,” said Chairs Rodgers and Bilirakis. “We look forward to our conversation with Secretary Raimondo to discuss how the Department of Commerce can further support American businesses and economic leadership.”

The Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce will hold the hearing titled “The Fiscal Year 2025 Department of Commerce Budget” on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM ET. The location for this event is 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.

Honorable Gina Raimondo, Secretary of the Department of Commerce, will serve as the witness for this hearing.
