Today, Congressman Brett Guthrie of Kentucky's 2nd District, who serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, announced an upcoming Full Committee Organizational Meeting for the 119th Congress. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
The agenda includes the adoption of rules for the committee in this session of Congress and the establishment of six standing subcommittees. During this meeting, Republican Subcommittee Chairs, Vice Chairs, and members will be announced. Similarly, Democratic Subcommittee Ranking Members and their respective members will also be revealed.
Chairman Guthrie has directed that this hearing be open to both the public and press. It will also be available via livestream at https://energycommerce.house.gov/.
