Ferry County Government issued the following announcement on March 31.

At this time, in order to reduce the risk of spreading the Corona Virus, Ferry County is asking that the public call the office that you need to do business with to make arrangements. We are closing our doors to protect our staff and the public. We are hoping with the utilization of the social distancing we can slow the spread of the disease.

We appreciate your understanding and patience.

As of March 31, 2020 the courthouse is closed to the public.

District Court

The Ferry County District Court office is open during this time. The courthouse building is closed to the public. If you feel you have urgent business to conduct in person with the court, please call us (509) 775-5225 extension 2504 to explain your situation. If your business is not urgent, there is a lockbox located outside the courthouse with envelopes and pens provided. Payments, including cash, MUST be made through the lockbox. If you would like a receipt for your transaction, please let us know and we will mail you a receipt to the address we have on file. If you are not sure that we have your current mailing address, please include it in the envelope. Typically this box is checked about 4 times per day (10, noon, 2, and 4).
